We’re Justin and MaKayla Sherman, a married couple based in Clinton, MS. Clinton is a beautiful, small town nestled in Central Mississippi. MaKayla is originally from Baton Rouge, LA and Justin is from the Mississippi Gulf Coast. We both graduated from Mississippi College where we earned our degrees. We got married in 2021 and have grown together since then!
Meet the Team
Justin is the Lead photographer of MGP with 8 years of experience in various forms of photography. He has developed a unique style over the years that’s true to life and authentic. He enjoys cooking, growing things in the garden, traveling, business and creating all things photo and video. His eye for good lighting and problem solving can give you the confidence you need to enjoy the day without having to worry about whether your photos or videos will come out okay.
MaKayla is our second shooter and has specialized in the arts for over 7 years. Her experience with different art forms has instilled in her a keen eye for design and composition. She’s a potter and loves to do crafts, bake sourdough, and hang out with friends and loved ones. Her personality is infectious and she loves to make people feel special and loved. Your wedding is about more than just pretty pictures. She makes your experience fun and enjoyable without the overwhelm.
