Who doesn’t love the beach? Ocean Springs, MS wedding photos are some of the most beautiful and elegant moments to capture through our lens. Mississippi wedding venues are all so wonderful, but few compare to the calm of the sea crashing against the sand of the Gulf Coast, and the sun gracefully painting the sky during the evening sunset. As wedding photographers in Jackson, MS, we were very happy to travel down to the MS Gulf Coast for a beautiful southern beach wedding!

Jordan and Melissa began their adventure together several years ago, dating and then engaged, and now married! Sharing an affinity for modified cars and their dog – Hazel, they have begun to create a life together. Jordan enjoys building and crafting cars as works of art and Melissa enjoys diving into novels.

On their wedding day, they chose to have an intimate gathering with some of their closest friends and family. The Ocean Springs Yacht Club graciously extended their facility to the soon-to-be married couple. With the Gulf of Mexico in the background, the scene was like that from a movie. Photos of the beautiful wedding flowers and various décor are pictured below.

The couple chose to get ready at the groom’s mother’s house in Gautier, MS. Pictured below, you can see the determined anticipation of the groom as he awaits his bride dressed in white. As the groom turns to see his bride for the first time in her wedding dress, she becomes overwhelmed with excitement.

Besides being an overwhelming experience to witness, we love when couple ask us to capture first look photos. Both parties get to relax and have their first moments together without anxiety of waiting for the ceremony. As an extra bonus, bridal portraits, groomsmen, bridesmaids and any other special photos can be captured before the ceremony. After the ceremony, family formal photos can be captured quicker and everyone can dismiss to cocktail hour. This helps keep us from pulling you out of your day, but still capturing the people most precious to you. Below, you can see some of the family photographs we captured!

Pulling the couple away for only 5-10 minutes, we were able to capture this breathtaking sunset photography with the Mississippi Coast in the background. The light was beautiful! Directly after, you can see the bride and groom pictured, playing with RC cars in the sand with Melissa’s younger family.

In conclusion, many couples choose to do a sparkler exit but it is a treat for us photographers to capture memories of unique exits like the one pictured below.
